55 social programs are offered at Crocus each month

Social Program

Mental illness can make everyday tasks, such as leaving the house in the morning, very difficult and can leave people feeling helpless, lonely and vulnerable. At Crocus, we work to not only provide a safe space for our members, but offer programming that reduces barriers, enriches the lives of our members, and creates positive, lasting friendships.

The social program provides the opportunity for members to develop socialization and communication skills through interaction with others in a safe environment. Each day two or three programs are offered and members can choose which programs, if any, they would like to participate in. Members are able to take part in community events at no cost. This program also creates learning opportunities for our members by bringing in guest speakers on various topics, touring relevant agencies, and learning new skills through group activities.

Each month a Social Program meeting is held to engage the members and explore the types of programs they would like to see offered at Crocus. See our monthly calendar of events to find out what is happening at Crocus this month.
